La Casita Re-Opens!

La Casa Mexican Restaurant (formerly La Casita) was reborn in July 2008.
Tony Gallegos first started serving Mexican food in Swindon in 1997 from a small takeaway outlet in the Brunel Centre. He then moved the business to 6 Devizes road in 1999 and began full restaurant service there. This proved to be very popular and for the next 5 years became one of the most popular restaurants in Old Town.
In 2004 Tony sold the restaurant to his manager at the time to pursue other interests. He bought the business back in June 2008 and has re-launched the restaurant as “La Casa” with all his original family recipes.
Tony grew up in southern Colorado and New Mexico USA and his recipes reflect the ingredients and culture that are unique to that area. All our dishes are made fresh in-house daily and with organic or locally produced ingredients wherever possible.
Ramon Reyes is a great friend of Tony’s family and is proud to be the new restaurant manager. He has been a key member in every opening or development with La Casita – La Casa. He was born in New York City and has lived in Swindon for 28 years.
